Senior Java Developer
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our product team developing a cutting-edge rental solution on the SAP BTP Cloud Platform.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and developing scalable cloud services, working closely with architects, functional analysts, and product owners to deliver a modern side-by-side extension solution integrated with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
What you will do:
- Design and developcloud-native backend services using Java on the SAP BTP platform
- Contribute to the architecture and development of ourmulti-tenant rental solution running on SAP BTP
- Develop scalable APIs and microservices for integration withSAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and other SAP services
- Collaborate closely withFunctional Analysts, Product Owners, and Frontend Developers to implement product features
- Ensure high-quality code throughcode reviews, testing, and best development practices
- Support integration scenarios usingREST APIs, SAP Integration Suite, and Event-driven architectures
- Contribute to performance optimization, security, and scalability of cloud services
- Participate actively inAgile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to technical decision-making
What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience inJava backend development (Spring Boot or similar frameworks)
- Experience buildingRESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- Solid understanding ofcloud-native application development concepts
- Experience withdatabase technologies (SQL / NoSQL)
- Experience withGit-based development workflows
- Familiarity withAgile development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
- Fluent in English
Nice to have:
- Experience withSAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Experience withSAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)
- Knowledge ofSAP S/4HANA Public Cloud integration concepts
- Experience withSAP Integration Suite, Event Mesh, or messaging architectures
- Familiarity withCI/CD pipelines, container-based development, and cloud deployment models
- Experience withJira, Confluence, and DevOps tools
