ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Presales Specialist possesses an advanced level of knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and will be the solution expert on FIT Global’s industry add-ons for (Dealer) Equipment Management, Rental and Leasing. You participate in sales cycles as a member of the account team and support the account strategy.
The Presales Specialist interacts with prospective customers through discovery conversations, solution demonstration and executive presentations and interactions. The Primary role of the Presales Specialist during a sales cycle is to convince the customer that FIT solutions can solve the customer’s business challenges and are the right choice over competition. Throughout the sales cycles you take on the role of the solution advisor. In addition to the deal support, the Presales Specialist collaborates with sales, marketing and the product owners in the R&D team to strengthen and execute the business development strategy.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
Deal Support:
- Conduct discovery sessions with prospective customers to understand their unique needs.
- Build a relationship with the customer, the relevant partner and SAP representatives.
- Compose, personalize and deliver superior sales presentations covering FIT solutions.
- Perform top-tier demo sessions of the solutions based on customer specific scenarios and inputs.
- Demonstrate deep industry knowledge and provide proof points with relevant customer stories.
- Deliver RFx content by engaging the internal delivery and R&D team.
- Conduct post-sale handover to the delivery team to ensure a smooth transition.
Demand Generation:
- Provide content input and validate marketing activities’ output.
- Lead & support information sessions to promote the FIT solutions for customers, partners and SAP.
- Collaborate with the business development team to identify whitespace opportunities at accounts.
Sales & Solution Readiness:
- Participate in demo design and planning and assist in configuration if needed.
- Provide input for the product roadmap.
- Conduct internal enablement sessions on the product and industry scenarios.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of presales or (business) consulting experience in enterprise software, preferably SAP.
- 5-7 successful sales cycles for mid-sized and large enterprise customers.
- Expert knowledge on end-to-end business processes in one of the industries (engineering & construction, industrial manufacturing, heavy equipment or automotive).
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in English (proficient), preferable with one other language like German, Spanish or French.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Mandatory: Bachelor equivalent
- Preferable: SAP S/4HANA certifications
- Preferable: Knowledge of Equipment/Asset Management
